Log Expenses tab — after you collect the car, add every fuel fill-up (with the odometer reading) and any cost. The charts and cost-per-km fill in from here.
Sinking Funds tab — a little saved monthly for insurance, road tax, tyres etc., so the yearly bills never catch you out.
